With a natural ammonite fossil in copper wire wrap as a focal, this "treasure" style abstract strung bead necklace is full of ocean colors & intricate detail! The focal features a fossilized nautilus shell with iridescent shading on one side & intriguing, amber color crystalized chambers on the other. Enclosed in intricately detailed, oxidized copper wire wrapping that echoes the ammonites' spirals & forms short "tentacles". The wrapping is structured so that the necklace can be worn reversibly.
From the bottom on the nautilus focal, triple drops hold an abstract mix including a handmade, lampworked glass bead....a clear spiral with blue/purple shimmery wash. A oval drop of apatite in copper wire wrap, opalite, green aventurine & turquoise rondelles, a faceted moonstone rounds & a single creamy white freshwater pearl. There's also curlicues of sterling wire and copper & sterling-over-copper Bali style beads, caps & spacers.
